About the Role
- We are looking for an exceptional nurse with at least 12 months experience as a Band 6 Charge Nurse in critical care.
- As a Senior Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and developing staff, teaching, training, and mentoring nurses to provide high-quality patient care.
- You will work collaboratively with senior medical professionals to ensure patients receive outstanding care.
- This role involves optimising patient admissions and transfers, balancing staffing levels across critical care units, and sharing critical care responsibilities with the hospital.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage and coordinate the multi-disciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and high-quality care.
- Lead and develop nursing practice within the ICU/HDU, promoting excellence and innovation.
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical knowledge, education, and professional development.
