About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Ambulance Care Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of personal care and transportation of patients
  • Attend to walking, wheelchair, and stretcher patients, providing transportation to their destination
  • Use manual handling techniques to support the safe transportation of patients
  • Meet medical requirements for DVLA Group 2 Driving Standards
Requirements
  • Three GCSEs at Grade 4/C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Full manual driving license with eligibility to drive in the UK
  • Significant driving experience
  • Experience of working in a caring environment
  • Basic IT knowledge and skills
  • Understanding of customer care and excellent communication skills
