Ambulance Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Ambulance Care Assistant. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and transportation services to our community.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of patient care and transportation services, working individually or as part of a crew.
- Provide safe and effective transportation of patients, using manual handling techniques as required.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency calls and providing care to patients in a variety of settings.
- Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in patient care and transportation.
- Three GCSEs at Grade 4/C or equivalent, including English and Maths, or significant relevant work experience.
- Full manual driving license with eligibility to drive in the UK.
- Significant driving experience and ability to meet medical requirements for DVLA Group 2 Driving Standards.
- Basic IT knowledge and skills, with ability to complete daily work sheets.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills, with ability to work effectively in a team.
