About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Reporting Specialist to join our team at Pineapple Furniture. As a key member of our reporting team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate and timely reports to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Collection and Analysis: Collate data from various sources to create new and ad-hoc reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  2. Weekly Reporting: Monitor sales performance across multiple regions, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  3. Monthly and Quarterly Reporting: Compile detailed analytical reports to present in monthly and quarterly meetings, highlighting trends and insights.
  4. Yearly Reporting: Use historical data to provide overviews of performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  5. Dashboard Development: Design and create user-friendly dashboards to present data insights, ensuring effective communication of key findings.
  6. Data Management: Ensure best practices in data management are followed, highlighting any areas of concern with data integrity.
Requirements
  1. Excel Proficiency: Highly proficient in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
  2. MS Office Skills: Excellent skills in using MS Office, including reporting toolkits.
  3. Data Interpretation: Excellent ability to interpret numerical data and present it in user-friendly formats.
  4. Database Knowledge: Good understanding of database structure and linking interfaces.
  5. BI Solutions: Previous experience with BI solutions, including Phocas, PowerPivot/Power BI, would be advantageous.
  6. Analytical and Visualisation Skills: Excellent analytical and visualisation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
  7. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  8. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to stakeholders.
