Keynsham, Bath and North East Somerset, United Kingdom Leaders in Care Full time

Leaders in Care is seeking a dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a new four-bedroom children's home. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of management experience in a children's home and a strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, Children's Act 1989, and Care Standards Act 2000.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register and manage a new four-bedroom children's home.
  • Lead and manage a team to deliver excellent child-focused care.
  • Work closely with the Responsible Individual (RI) and senior management.
  • Oversee routine meetings, supervisions, and probationary reviews.
  • Ensure safe and effective rota administration.
  • Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the home.
  • Maintain compliance with legislative and regulatory conditions.
  • Manage the children's home budget in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Develop systems for consulting children about the quality of care.
