About the Role

Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to work with children, young people, and families in the Bath and North East Somerset area.

This rewarding role involves providing advice and support to help disabled children and their families live safely and independently in their own homes.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with our colleagues across the service and establish partnerships with agencies across health, education, and support services.

The role requires assessing children and young people's needs under the Children and Families Act, making adaptation requests, and providing equipment and moving and handling advice and support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to be committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare and development of children and assisting their carers in creative and innovative ways.

You will be a qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration, and we offer a culture of mutual support amongst team members and regular supervision and training.
