In our BSW (Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) CAMHS service we are proud to be developing a needs led, responsive and accessible service based on the i-Thrive model.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist who would be interested in this role as the senior clinician for the Crisis and Home Treatment Service (CAHTS) in BaNES CAMHS.

We have had great feedback from staff about our model of having CAHTS staff embedded in the local CAMHS teams, such that they feel part of the team and work closely together. This role would involve taking a lead for CAHTS staff in this CAMHS base and working closely with the BSW wide CAHTS clinical leadership team to support our staff and to offer a brilliant service to children and young people. We would seek for this person to help develop our evidence based clinical pathways and offer consultation and supervision to CAHTS staff.

**Overall Objectives of the post**:

- The post will include professional and practice development and ensuring high quality clientcentered care is delivered as part of the multi-disciplinary CAMHS crisis and home treatment

service for Bath and Northeast Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire
- To take a leading role in the development of evidence-based services and specialist programs for the care group
- To provide an assessment and treatment process for referred patients in collaboration with professional colleagues and clinical services in order to enable continuity of care
- To develop care pathways and sign post young people to appropriate mental health services
- To provide consultation, advice and training to support partnership agencies.

We have access to a robust internal training programme as well as a dedicated CAMHS training lead who will support you whilst new in post.

Although this role is funded for full time hours, we are motivated to find excellent staff and are open to negotiate part times hours if required to fit with an individual’s circumstances.

The post holder may be required to participate in a flexible working pattern within the multi-disciplinary team to provide cover for a core day 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday -Sunday and Bank Holidays.

The post holder will also participate in covering the service’s 24 hour on call service
