Keynsham, United Kingdom Oxford Health NHS Trust Full time

The BaNES MHST is a small and supportive team, working in around 50% of schools in B&NES. The team consists of 8 EMHPs / CWPs, Specialist SEN EMHP, two other Supervisors, Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead and Clinical Manager. In your role, you would supervise EMHPs / CWP's, be a lead contact for our schools and undertake pre-referral consultation and would also hold a small caseload. You will receive regular case management supervision, clinical skills supervision, and supervision of supervision.

You will work closely with the Deputy Team Manager and Clinical Team Manager and form part of the BaNES MHST leadership team. We are a continually evolving and developing service and as such you would be able to be at forefront of the development of our service. The B&NES MHST works closely with the neighbouring MHST in Wiltshire. The post holder will be part of a cohort of 11 supervisors across both teams.

We are very invested in our staff and will work with you to identify any learning and development needs and support and develop your passions and interests. This role within CAMHS aims to develop the role of Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) in the B&NES Mental Health Support Team (MHST). It represents an opportunity for clinicians who have knowledge and experience in using evidence-based low intensity interventions to develop their careers, and support the development of this new, exciting service for young people and their families. You will develop, and support and the Education Mental Health Practitioners to provide guided self-help, low intensity, brief, evidence-based CBT and to deliver groups and training.

You will work closely with senior colleagues to screen and triage all referrals. The role will also involve highlighting areas of need within the new teams and helping to develop the service and create quality improvement plans supported by, and in conjunction with, senior colleagues. You will hold a small caseload in agreement with your supervisor.
