About the Role

The Children's Resilience Worker is a vital part of our team at Premier Education, providing a safe and engaging environment for children to explore, learn, and develop through play. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for facilitating activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development in children.

This part-time role requires a strong background in Early Childhood Education, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children and adults alike. You will work closely with children in primary school settings, ensuring they have opportunities to grow and develop through play.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create and implement engaging play activities that cater to the diverse needs of children.
  2. Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  3. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social interactions and emotional growth.
  4. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
  5. Maintain a clean and organised play environment, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use.
  6. Manage behaviour effectively by using positive reinforcement techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
  7. Document children's progress and communicate any concerns to relevant parties.

Requirements

  • A background in Early Childhood Education is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children and adults alike.
  • Leadership qualities to inspire and guide children during play activities.
  • A proactive drive to create an enriching environment for children's development.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication.
  • A passion for childcare and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Working Arrangements

  • Part-time position, 30 hours per week.
  • Monday to Friday.
