Job Title: Senior Formulations Specialist

Spherical Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Formulations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our scientific team, you will be responsible for developing innovative aerosol-based delivery technologies and associated disease state treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement new formulations for pharmaceutical aerosol products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute exploratory product development programs
  • Provide scientific and technical expertise to support business development functions
  • Participate in initial and ongoing discussions with customers to outline and understand their requirements
  • Support the Pharmaceutical Development teams in the company to deliver revenue-generating portfolio of work efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
  • First degree in a scientific, pharmacy or relevant discipline of grade 2
  • PhD in relevant discipline preferable
  • Extensive experience in formulation development in the drug delivery field, particularly in peptides and/or proteins
  • Ability to present at scientific meetings, webinars, and conferences
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, take initiative and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
