Job Title: Senior Specialist - Aerosol Formulation Expert

Spherical Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist to join our team in the field of aerosol formulation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for exercising expertise in the development of innovative and safe aerosol-based delivery technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement aerosol formulation strategies for pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to optimize aerosol formulation performance.
  • Conduct physical-chemical characterization of aerosol formulations to ensure their viability for drug delivery.
  • Support business development functions in designing and preparing new proposals of work as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in aerosol formulation.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in aerosol formulation design and development activities, including inhalation and associated analytical methods for small and large molecules.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant discipline, such as pharmaceutical science, chemistry, or bioengineering.
  • Extensive experience in aerosol formulation development, particularly in peptides and/or proteins.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading exploratory product development programs in the pharmaceutical industry.
