Job Description

Spherical Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Formulation Specialist to join our team in the field of aerosol-based delivery technologies. As a key member of our scientific team, you will be responsible for leading exploratory product development programs and providing technical expertise in inhalation/aerosol formulation and delivery technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative aerosol-based delivery technologies and associated disease state treatments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope projects, develop business cases, and execute plans.
  • Act as a scientific leader and influencer, providing technical expertise and guidance to customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of new inventions and intellectual property in the fields of formulation of aerosol-based pharmaceutical technologies.
  • Participate in calls, workshops, problem-solving, technical discussions, and project review processes to leverage your experience and technical capabilities.
Requirements:
  • First degree in a scientific, pharmacy, or relevant discipline.
  • PhD in a relevant discipline is preferable.
  • Extensive experience in formulation development in the drug delivery field, particularly in peptides and/or proteins.
  • Pharmaceutical aerosol formulation development experience.
  • Proven experience working in an advanced development function within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to present at scientific meetings, webinars, and conferences.
  • Strong working knowledge of the company's services, contract development/research, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries.
