Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Aerosol Formulation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading exploratory product development programs, providing technical expertise in inhalation/aerosol formulation and delivery technologies, and supporting customers, team members, and academic/industrial partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Exploratory Product Development Programs: Develop and execute business cases and execution plans for novel research and development projects in aerosol-based delivery technologies and associated disease state treatments.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Act as a technical expert in inhalation/aerosol formulation and delivery technologies, supporting customers, team members, academic/industrial partners, regulatory agencies, Senior Management, R&D, and Business Development.
  • Support Customers and Team Members: Participate in calls, workshops, problem-solving, technical discussions, and project review processes/meetings as required, to leverage your experience and technical capabilities.
  • Develop New Inventions and Intellectual Property: Scope projects fully, including business case and execution plan, leading the delivery with collaborative working with other teams.

Requirements:

  • Education: First degree in a scientific, pharmacy, or relevant discipline of grade 2.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in formulation development in the drug delivery field, particularly in peptides and/or proteins.
  • Skills: Ability to present at scientific meetings, webinars, and conferences; ability to work independently and in a team environment, take initiative, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision.
