Job Title: Senior Specialist - Aerosol Formulation Expert

Spherical Search is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist to join our team in the field of aerosol formulation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for exercising expertise in the development of innovative and safe products for inhalation drug delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement aerosol formulation strategies for small and large molecules.
  • Lead the development of novel inhalation products, including pressurized metered dose inhalers (pMDIs) and dry powder formulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute experiments to support product development.
  • Provide technical expertise to support business development functions in designing and preparing new proposals of work.
  • Support the Pharmaceutical Development teams in the company in your chosen specialism, to allow delivery of the revenue-generating portfolio of work for our customers, internally and externally, efficiently, and effectively.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant discipline, such as pharmaceutical science or chemistry.
  • Extensive experience in formulation development in the drug delivery field, particularly in peptides and/or proteins.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex scientific information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities and work under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
