Medical Office Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Primary Care Management Solutions Ltd.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration and excellent communication skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the multidisciplinary team, including scanning and processing of documents, filtering medical reports and letters, and managing appointments.
- Act as the central point of contact for patients' letters, reports, and other documentation, ensuring timely distribution of information and messages.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies, such as secondary care and community service providers.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
- Support clinical staff with general tasks and assist with patient queries.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Maintain and monitor the practice appointment system.
- Process personal, telephone, and e-requests for appointments.
- Answer incoming phone calls, transferring calls or dealing with callers' requests appropriately.
- Signpost patients to the correct service.
- Action incoming faxes when necessary.
Person Specification:
- GCSE level or equivalent qualification.
- GCSE Mathematics and English (C or above).
- AMSPAR Receptionists Qualification.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
- Experience working with the general public.
- Desirable: experience in administrative duties and healthcare settings.
Salary Range: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
