Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Administrator to join our team at Lawes Insurance Recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Slips and Policy Management: Process slips, proposal forms, and full policy schedules, wordings, and endorsements.
  • Risk and Premium Management: Process risks and premium bordereau, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Claims Management: Process claims bordereau and claims collection in a timely fashion, and review and provide claims history, loss information, major claims analysis, and figures to other divisions, underwriters, and clients.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Back-up for compliance and regulatory issues, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical practices.
  • Accounts and Finance: Deal with accounts procedures (credit control, cash allocations, accounts reconciliation, analysis of results), and liaise with Velonetic regarding payment of premium to market and bureau.
Requirements:
  • Insurance Knowledge: Proven knowledge of insurance principles and practices with a particular focus on Lloyd's, London, and International insurance markets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements (CASS rules and legal principles governing insurance).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance funds processing and policy issuance, and proficiency in using insurance management software and other relevant technology.
  • Language: Italian as a plus.
