We are seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our team, responsible for handling and processing insurance policy documentation and renewals, managing customer accounts, and liaising with insurers and underwriters.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an account handling role within an insurance brokerage, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations in the UK.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling and processing insurance policy documentation and renewals
  • Managing customer accounts, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Liaising with insurers and underwriters to facilitate policy changes and amendments
  • Maintaining organised records and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
  • Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks and policy management
  • Conducting thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs
  • Providing expert advice on various insurance products
  • Collaborating with insurance underwriters to negotiate and secure competitive quotes
  • Preparing and presenting insurance proposals to clients, explaining terms and conditions clearly
