Position Overview
As a Shaw Contract Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming showroom environment that showcases our high-quality products and provides an exceptional customer experience. You will maintain a facility that reinforces dealer education, facilitates stronger brand alignment, and drives sales wins.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome all showroom guests and create a positive and brand-consistent customer experience.
- Represent the company in a manner that ensures a customer experience consistent with the Shaw brand values.
- Ensure that all displays and the facility are of the highest standard, including stock displays, visual appeal, and optimized space for customer experience and visual appeal.
- Collaborate with marketing to design special events and execute them to ensure brand experience consistency.
- Provide assistance with customer visits, present products to scheduled visitors when the sales team is unavailable, and maintain the showroom calendar.
- Seek new ideas to make the space more functional for the needs of the sales region.
- Assist in new product launches and maintain the overall appearance of the showroom, including management of cleaning services, flower/plant services, and building services.
- Interact with leasing companies and other vendors to facilitate necessary showroom duties.
- Provide the sales team with weekly reports on showroom activity and send monthly reports to Marketing.
- Schedule caterers, set up, and clean up per sales team requests and individual customer needs.
- Aid in facility setup and cleanup for training activities.
- Assist with sales meetings, trainings, division meetings, product launch events, and other showroom meetings as requested by the RVP and/or Marketing.
- Present products to walk-in visitors and provide requested literature and information.
- Maintain an adequate supply of literature and finish samples in the facility and keep all sales tools and materials current, complete, and available for immediate use.
- Maintain and order all office supplies, equipment supplies, and café supplies.
- Effectively manage facility invoices and drive showroom cost efficiencies.
- Develop relationships and maintain contact with vendors.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and packages.
- Develop a relationship with the sales team as an integral team member.
- Be knowledgeable of distribution and sales coverage in the market.
- Provide product and service information to dealers, the A&D community, and end-users in person and by phone.
- Arrange packing and shipment of samples.
Qualifications:
- Experience in providing an exceptional in-person customer service experience for a premium brand or relevant showroom experience.
- Organization skills, accuracy, and great attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management, showroom management, facilities management, front desk hospitality, or interior design experience.
- Understanding of industry language, manufacturer/dealer structure, the role of A&D in the selling process.
- College degree.
- Previous showroom sales experience preferred.
