Job Purpose and Scope:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and finance responsibilities of the Reporting Team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of all relevant reporting for assigned companies, joint ventures, and branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Reporting Team's day-to-day activities, including planning and preparation of information required for quarterly and annual audits.
  • Provide accurate, compliant, and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to Group.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Champion a pioneering culture, driving simplification, efficiency, and excellence within the team.
  • Collaborate with senior management and the Group reporting function on ad-hoc matters as needed.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Practice-trained background with good technical knowledge of IFRS and carrying out statutory audits
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with key stakeholders
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Team mindset and ability to challenge existing ways of working
