Job Title: Deputy Commercial Finance Manager

Bouygues UK is seeking an experienced Deputy Commercial Finance Manager to join their Financial Accounting Shared Service Centre team in Haywards Heath.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead the Financial Reporting team, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of all relevant reporting for assigned companies, joint ventures, and branches.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting and finance responsibilities of the Reporting Team
  • Plan and prepare information required for quarterly and annual audits and manage the audit process with statutory auditors
  • Prepare high-quality Financial Statements
  • Plan and prepare information required for annual corporation tax returns for review by the Tax Manager
  • Ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures and contribute to any required developments
  • Assist senior management and the Group reporting function with ad hoc matters as needed
  • Lead, support, and develop the accounting staff
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Practice-trained background with good technical knowledge of IFRS and carrying out statutory audits
  • Ability to lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals
  • Proven planning and organisation skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Experience of accounting for LLPs, Joint Ventures, and branches - advantageous
