Job Title: Deputy Commercial Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Deputy Commercial Finance Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving our financial strategy and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting and finance functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reports to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Finance: Manage the day-to-day accounting and finance responsibilities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Compliance and Risk: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of financial objectives.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and practice-trained background with good technical knowledge of IFRS and carrying out statutory audits.
  • Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, with strong planning and organization skills.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with key stakeholders, including senior management and external auditors.
  • Technical Skills: Strong MS Excel skills and experience of accounting for LLPs, Joint Ventures, and branches.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: A salary range of £60,000 to £65,000.
