Job Title: Deputy Commercial Finance Manager

Michael Page (UK) is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Commercial Finance Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving financial excellence and supporting the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, support, and develop a small team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Professional Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and practice-trained background with good technical knowledge of IFRS and carrying out statutory audits.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a small team, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Strong MS Excel skills and experience of accounting for LLPs, Joint Ventures, and branches.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive Salary: £60,000 to £65,000.
