We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join our team at a specialist college. As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students aged 16-25 who require additional support due to emotional and behavioural challenges.

About the Role
  1. You will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to students, helping them to overcome their challenges and achieve their goals.
  2. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  3. You will use positive reinforcement techniques to help manage challenging behaviours.
  4. You will also encourage student independence and self-advocacy through skill-building activities.

Requirements: You will need experience working with individuals with special educational needs, a genuine passion for supporting young people, and current safeguarding training.
