Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Child Mental Health Crisis Specialist to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and providing therapeutic interventions for children and young people with autism and/or learning disabilities in mental health crisis.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead the nursing team and contribute to service developments
  • To provide supervision and management of staff
  • To develop and implement behavioral/therapeutic treatment programs
Requirements
  • Registered mental health/LD nurse, with postgraduate qualification (PgDip, MSc or equivalent)
  • Experience in assessment skills, chairing multi-agency meetings and working knowledge of Positive Behavioural Support model

Location

The role can be offered on a full or part-time basis and requires flexibility with some hybrid working and travel required across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary in line with NHS trust standards, estimated around £40,000-£60,000 per annum depending on experience.
