**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Specialist to join our dedicated team at Long Term Futures Ltd. This role involves working with students aged 16-25, providing essential support to help them overcome challenges related to their emotional and behavioural needs.

The successful candidate will be supporting students with complex difficulties and learning challenges, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Student Development: Provide tailored support to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Manage Challenging Behaviours: Employ positive reinforcement techniques to help manage challenging behaviours.
  • Foster Independence: Encourage student independence and self-advocacy through skill-building activities.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their personal development.
  • Current safeguarding training is highly desirable.
  • An enhanced child and adult barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
