A leading manufacturing company in Runcorn is hiring a Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join their team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the HSE strategy and drive improvement across the site. As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive health and safety management system.
  • Collaborate with external bodies, including the Health and Safety Executive, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE rules, regulations, and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in a Health and Safety role in a manufacturing business, preferably from automotive, aerospace, chemical, industrial, or FMCG sectors.
  • Possess strong project management skills, with the ability to lead projects from inception to completion.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office software, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Compensation Package

The estimated annual salary for this position is £60,000 - £75,000, commensurate with experience.
