About the Role:

  • Promote a consistent approach to Health, Safety & Well-being across the site, fostering a culture of responsibility and accountability.
  • Stay up-to-date with HSE regulations and legal requirements, ensuring seamless compliance and optimal workplace conditions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external bodies, including the Health and Safety Executive, suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective Health, Safety & Well-being strategies, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to mitigate potential hazards.
  • Liaise with senior management to ensure that health, safety, and wellbeing considerations are integrated into business decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent qualification (NEBOSH National General Certificate)
  • Proven track record in Health and Safety leadership roles within manufacturing environments, preferably in the automotive, aerospace, chemical, industrial, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning, executing, and monitoring projects from initiation to completion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

What We Offer:
