Job Title: Technical Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Atlas Copco Power Technique. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical support to our customers and internal teams, ensuring the successful installation, operation, and maintenance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits to resolve technical issues and application problems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement technical solutions, including service bulletins and training programs.
  • Manage warranty claims and administer service bulletins.
  • Support dealers with warranty claims and provide technical assistance as needed.
  • Work closely with the Service Operations Manager to manage work-in-progress and provide on-site and remote support to service engineers.
  • Develop and deliver internal and external technical service training.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Excellent technical knowledge of generator and ESS systems, with a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Experience in customer support, with a focus on achieving targets and maintaining effectiveness.
  • Goal-focused mindset, with a strong ability to engage customers and provide solutions.
  • Good presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and other relevant software.
  • Desirable: knowledge of Atlas Copco systems, lighting towers, and centrifugal/piston pumps.
  • High-quality engineering background and technical service experience in generators/lighting towers/pumps/ESS systems.
