About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Sales Administrator to join our team in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, maximizing sales opportunities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to enquiries, and converting them into orders to achieve the team's order intake target.
  • Operate barriers and weighbridge, ensuring seamless interactions with customers, hauliers, and suppliers.
  • Pricing and tendering: ensure accurate pricing and timely completion of tenders to meet customer requirements.
  • Order management: ensure orders are won at the best price possible, and information is recorded accurately.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Production, Quality/Technical, and Dispatch teams to ensure customer requirements and timeframes are met.
  • Record and resolve non-conformances and complaints, assisting in the completion of Corrective Actions Reports.
  • Provide holiday cover for the transport function as required.
Requirements
  • Strong administrative abilities, with a good level of spoken and written English language.
  • Proven track record in customer service, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Commercial acumen and mathematical abilities, with strong user-level IT skills, particularly in MS Office.
  • Familiarity with Sales Logix, Crystal, or Sage is beneficial.
