About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer Associate Practitioner to join our Medical Equipment Management team at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle of medical equipment, ensuring its safe and effective use in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the service, repair, and fault-finding of medical equipment
  • Commission, calibrate, and performance assure medical equipment
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment meets clinical needs
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of medical equipment and technology
Requirements
  • Engineering or Technology knowledge to SCQF Level 8
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and general engineering principles
  • Experience in the service, repair, and fault-finding of electronic or electrical systems
  • Good organisational and communication skills

Working Hours

You will work 33 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute lunch break on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and a 30-minute lunch break on Wednesday.
