About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineer Associate Practitioner Medical Physics to join our Medical Equipment Management service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the full life-cycle of medical equipment devices, completing over 50,000 jobs per year across ten hospital sites in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission, calibrate, performance assure, and repair medical equipment
  • Work as part of a team of clinical engineer technologists to manage medical equipment devices
  • Provide competency-based training on a range of low-risk and non-complex medical equipment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the safe and effective use of medical equipment
Requirements
  • Engineering or Technology knowledge to SCQF Level 8
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and general engineering principles
  • Experience of the service, repair, and fault-finding of electronic or electrical systems
  • Good organisational and communication skills
