Job Title: Clinical Lead

Location: Vaccination UK

Description: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the immunisation programme meets CQC standards and clinical staff work to a high standard. This includes monitoring vaccination programmes, supporting management, addressing safeguarding concerns, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure school-aged children vaccinated within the programme receive professional treatment and patient safety is prioritised.
  2. Monitor vaccination programmes to ensure they operate safely and meet high clinical standards.
  3. Support management in delivering the vaccination programme by maintaining regular contact with clinical staff.
  4. Address safeguarding concerns raised by nurses, escalate to the Clinical Director, and attend quarterly supervision.
  5. Act as primary contact for nurses regarding clinical queries or safeguarding concerns.
  6. Provide support to Senior Management on compliance-related matters, ensuring operations align with regulations.
  7. Maintain accurate and comprehensive record-keeping for formal and informal clinical supervision, staff training, and incidents.
  8. Attend CQC inspections as required.

Requirements:

  • Nursing or Midwifery registration with the NMC.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • Working within PGD frameworks.
  • Safeguarding training.
  • Immunisation essential.

Experience:

  • Managerial/leadership experience.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, time-management, and record-keeping skills.

Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
