We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Assistant Technical Officer to join our Pharmacy Stores and Distribution team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating various functions, developing efficient workflows, and working closely with stakeholders within the pharmacy directorate.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of the Stores and Distribution team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to turnaround times.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows, processes, and procedures to improve team productivity and performance.
- Lead and participate in departmental team briefs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Work closely with the Lead Pharmacy Technician – Stores and Distribution to support the operational management of the stores/distribution service, ensuring seamless coordination and communication.
- Significant recent experience of working within a stores or warehousing environment, with a strong understanding of stock control and inventory management.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills, with experience of leading and training staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement improvements within a team or department.
- Experience of using inventory management computer systems and other relevant software applications.
