Job Responsibilities
The University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to fill the role of Lead Assistant Technical Officer – Stores and Distribution. This position involves supervising the day-to-day activities within the team, developing efficient ways of working, and collaborating with other stakeholders within the pharmacy directorate.
Main Duties
The post holder will be responsible for coordinating various functions of the Stores and Distribution team, including stock control, inventory management, and team supervision. They will also be expected to develop and implement improvements within the team or department, and work closely with other members of the pharmacy team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the Stores and Distribution team.
- Develop and implement efficient ways of working to improve team productivity and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders within the pharmacy directorate to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement improvements within the team or department.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have significant recent experience of working within a stores or warehousing environment, with a strong background in stock control and inventory management. They will also have experience of supervising and training staff, and be able to develop and implement improvements within a team or department.
