Lead Assistant Technical Officer - Stores and Distribution
Pharmacy Directorate
Band 4
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating various functions of the Stores and Distribution team, developing efficient ways of working, and collaborating with stakeholders within the pharmacy directorate.
Main Duties
The post holder will be expected to:
- Co-ordinate workflow and staffing, ensuring turnaround times are adhered to
- Develop and implement process improvements
- Lead and participate in departmental team briefs
- Support the Lead Pharmacy Technician - Stores and Distribution in day-to-day operational management
- Work together with other band 4 ATOs to achieve team goals
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant recent experience of working within a stores or warehousing environment
- Stock control experience
- Supervising and training staff
- Previous experience of using inventory management computer systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
