About The Role

This Senior Care Assistant role is a critical position within our care team, requiring a highly skilled and compassionate individual to provide exceptional care to our residents.

As a Senior Care Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop a team of care workers, providing personalized support to residents and promoting independence and dignity.

You will work closely with other members of the care team to ensure that residents receive high-quality care and support, including assistance with daily care tasks, care planning, and medication management.

Responsibilities
  • Understanding residents' needs and providing personalized support
  • Assisting with daily care tasks, promoting independence and dignity
  • Maintaining confidentiality and upholding residents' rights
  • Care planning, medication management, and delivery for designated service users
  • Moving, handling, and assisting with daily hygiene and dressing needs
  • Reporting changes in residents' condition and hazards or unsafe equipment
  • Attending mandatory training and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
Qualifications And Experience
  • NVQ 3 / MA L3 in Health and Social Care or working towards it
  • Previous experience as a senior in a Residential Care or Nursing Home
  • A passion for elderly care and experience with medication administration

Salary: £29,800 per annum depending on experience.
