About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hire Desk Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with area managers, sales, and contract managers to gain a thorough understanding of each job, ensuring all details are available for effective execution.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to gather detailed information about each project
  • Source external suppliers and subcontractors for operatives, plant, and equipment
  • Manage purchase ledger and minimize rehire costs
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant experience within the crane or plant hire industry
  • Operational understanding of a hire desk within the plant and machinery movement, crane, or plant hire industries
  • Experience managing sub-contractors across different geographical locations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
