Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a local primary school.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and make progress.
  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEN.
  • Working collaboratively with other support staff to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEN.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background working with students with SEN, particularly those with severe or profound learning difficulties.
  • An ability to develop positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A patient, calm, and caring approach to supporting students with complex needs.
