Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Teaching Support Professional to join our dynamic education and training sector in Hatfield. As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support to students with diverse needs, helping them overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties, on a 1:1 or small group basis.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student.
  • Help children develop emotional and social skills through positive reinforcement and guidance.
  • Work closely with teachers and parents to implement IEPs and track progress.
  • Assist students in building confidence, independence, and life skills beyond the classroom.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children with SEN and a commitment to making a positive impact.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Support Professional is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to pursue a career in education and training.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Relevant qualification, such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, would be advantageous but is not required.
  • Ability to commute to Hatfield
