Aqua-Tech Recruitment is delighted to be working with CV Library, a multi-engineering company who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager/Lead Adviser.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with specific experience and knowledge of the utilities or water industry. The primary responsibility of the Health and Safety Manager will be to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards.
Main Responsibilities:- Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures specific to the utilities/water sector.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address health and safety hazards and risks.
- Coordinate and deliver health and safety training programs for employees, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Keep abreast of developments in health and safety regulations and standards relevant to the utilities/water sector.
- A recognised qualification in Health and Safety.
- Previous experience in health and safety management, with specific experience in the utilities or water sector.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards applicable to the utilities/water sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate health and safety risks.
This role comes with a salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
