We are seeking an experienced Operational Support Officer to join our team at CV-Library.

Estimated Salary: £13.73 per hour

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:00

Job Description:

This role involves providing operational support for transaction processing services, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of defined administrative, operational, and technical activities within a section or department.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Process work according to agreed procedures, business rules, or scripts.
  2. Deal with inquiries received via email and respond accordingly, taking messages.
  3. Process transactions/applications using an Optical Character Recognition (OCR) system.
  4. Learn the procedures and understand parameters for producing quality output.
  5. Ensure work is processed to the defined level of quality.
  6. Resolve queries and escalate as necessary, logging if appropriate.
  7. Schedule and prioritize allocated work daily.
  8. Distribute information and collaborate with other team members or groups when required.
  9. Identify areas for improvement and suggest enhancements.
  10. Maintain and update database records or manually held information.
  11. Support line management on additional administrative tasks as needed.
  12. Liaise with internal and external clients.
  13. Print and post data, reports, invoices daily.
  14. Maintain records for audit purposes.
  15. Ensure deadlines are met.
  16. Cash handling and payment reconciliation.
