About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our Inpatient Adult Mental Health Services team. This is an exciting opportunity for a band 7 or 8a Counselling or Clinical Psychologist to progress in their career and take on new challenges.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working with adults presenting with a range of clinical severity and be able to provide clinical supervision to more junior team members and other members of the multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Job Description

This role involves providing psychologically informed training and engaging in 1:1 work, group interventions, consultation, teaching, and supervision with excellent support from a qualified psychologist.

You will work collaboratively with the MDT to deliver high-quality care to adults with a variety of difficulties, promoting recovery-oriented approaches and supporting individuals to achieve their goals.

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClin Psych) or equivalent qualification in clinical psychology OR a doctorate in counselling psychology.

As well as a strong academic background, you will also require:

  • Experience of working with adults presenting with a range of clinical severity.

Salary

The salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
