About the Job

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking enthusiastic Counselling or Clinical Psychologists to progress to Senior (band 8a) roles in our Inpatient Adult Mental Health Services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, excellent communication skills, and experience working with adults presenting with a range of clinical severity. As a Senior Psychologist, you will have opportunities to develop your skills and take on more complex cases, providing direct assessment and formulation work with service users.

Main Responsibilities

  • Direct assessment and formulation work with complex service users
  • Provide clinical supervision to junior team members and other MDT members
  • Lead on psychologically informed team formulation
  • Contribute to QIPs, audits, and research on ward
  • Deliver psychologically informed training
