About the Role

We are seeking experienced Counselling or Clinical Psychologists to join our Inpatient Adult Mental Health Services as Senior (band 8a) psychologists. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions, supervising junior team members, and contributing to multidisciplinary team formulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for service users
  • Provide supervision and guidance to junior team members
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop trauma-informed care
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects
  • Deliver training and education to staff and service users

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent, registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, and experience working with adults presenting with a range of clinical severity. A strong understanding of psychological models and excellent communication skills are also essential.
