Clinical Assay Specialist required for a leading biotechnology company based in Oxford. As a Clinical Assay Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development, qualification, and validation of bioassays and clinical samples under GCLP guidelines. You will also have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, including the development of early-stage oncolytic virus products through to clinical development.

The key responsibilities for this position include:
  • Developing, validating, and qualifying bioassays and clinical samples under GCLP.
  • Contributing to the development of new cancer treatments.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of GCLP guidelines and industry best practices.

Requirements:
  • Degree qualified (MSc/PhD) with industry experience in clinical bioassay validation, analysis, and clinical sample management.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to strategic R&D goals.
  • Up-to-date GCLP certifications.
  • Technical experience on cell culture, qPCR, RNA/DNA extractions, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
