Cirencester, Gloucestershire, United Kingdom Bromford Full time
About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Community Support Specialist to join our team at Bromford. In this role, you will work independently to manage a patch of around two hundred homes, making sure the properties are well-maintained and customers are aware of their responsibilities. The successful candidate will provide coaching and guidance to residents, promoting a customer-centric approach.

This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires managing tenancy sign-ups and changes, addressing anti-social behaviour and safeguarding concerns, as well as court work and evictions when necessary. You will work closely with our maintenance and lettings teams to allocate empty homes efficiently, manage customer expectations around repairs, and address property maintenance issues promptly. With regular home working available, this position offers flexibility and variety, with travel required to surrounding areas. An enhanced DBS check is mandatory for this role.

To excel in this position, you should have experience working in a customer-facing environment, preferably within housing management. You will aim to achieve performance targets, enhancing customer satisfaction while demonstrating resilience and determination in achieving desired outcomes. You will also possess exceptional communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills, with access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence. Estimated salary: £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent people skills, able to build strong relationships with residents and community services, with experience in roles such as housing manager, housing officer, neighbourhood manager, or tenancy officer.
