The Senior Disability Support Specialist plays a vital role in managing risk and initiating safeguarding interventions for students with mental health diagnoses. This is a multi-faceted position that requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including staff and external partners, to ensure high-quality student-centered support.

The ideal candidate will possess graduate-level qualifications or equivalent experience working with disabled students in a higher education environment. A mental health practitioner qualification is desirable, along with active registration with a relevant professional body.

This role involves managing a complex caseload, leading people, projects, or areas of work, and utilizing policy and processes to drive results. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential, as well as the ability to follow procedures and contribute to their development.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £39,000-£46,500 per annum, depending on experience, reflecting the company's commitment to fair compensation.
