Adult Education Tutor Opportunity

S Knights is seeking an experienced Adult Education Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment to adult learners, helping them achieve their goals and reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for adult education and a proven track record of delivering accredited vocational qualifications, Functional Skills, Employability qualifications, and Essential Digital Skills. They will also have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to inspire learners from all backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver engaging lessons that inspire learners, ensuring high-quality provision across multiple ability levels (Entry 1 – Level 2).
  • Learner Support: Perform initial and diagnostic assessments to create tailored learning plans and set clear, achievable objectives for your learners.
  • Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess learner progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Career Guidance: Provide guidance on progression opportunities and help learners transition smoothly into employment or further education.
  • Curriculum Development: Develop creative, motivational teaching materials tailored to learner needs, ensuring the delivery meets both academic and funding criteria.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality procedures and funding documentation requirements.
  • Employer Engagement: Collaborate closely with local employers and stakeholders to support learner success and progression.

Requirements:

  • A teaching qualification level 2 (CTLLS, PTLLS, AET, PGCE etc.).
