Imaging Junior Sister/Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key leader in the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and care.
- Develop and implement effective nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with radiologists, radiographic staff, and anesthetists to provide care for complex patients across all imaging modalities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Registered General Nurse (level 1) with a degree in Nursing.
- Teaching Qualification or equivalent experience.
- Radiology nursing course.
- Comprehensive experience of IR & Imaging nursing.
- Experience of nursing care in an acute or critical care setting.
We offer a comprehensive orientation program, in-house training, foundation courses, coaching, and leadership training. You will have the opportunity to build skills and knowledge in surgical scrubbing, circulating, and recovery skills. The role provides exposure to Endovascular work, microwave ablation, MRgFUS fibroids, Prostate embolization, Thrombectomy, embolization of aneurysms, and other highly specialized treatments.
