We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Interventional Radiology team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key leader in the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the team in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment and care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists, radiographic staff, and anesthetists to provide care for complex patients across all imaging modalities.
- Develop skills and knowledge in surgical scrubbing, circulating, and recovery skills.
- Provide exposure to Endovascular work, microwave ablation, MRgFUS fibroids, Prostate embolization, Thrombectomy, embolization of aneurysms, and other highly specialized treatments.
- Degree in Nursing
- Teaching Qualification or equivalent experience
- Radiology nursing course
- Registered General nurse (level 1)
- Comprehensive experience of IR & Imaging nursing
- Experience of nursing care in an acute or critical care setting
